September 2017 Learning Technique Challenge with ApriltheScrapaholic

    Welcome to the September 2017
    Learning Technique Challenge!
    with ApriltheScrapaholic

    Tearing Paper Technique

Got this idea from Dianna's challenge because I really had trouble finding a page that had torn paper on it. I was finding my pages and then I was finding Lins Creations previews which have perfect torn papers. Finally found a torn paper page from Dawn. LOL I did find papers that had like weathered edges around the whole paper but I wanted a straight torn page. So this is what I want you to do. Stack some papers on a page and tear the top one or ones all the way across so you also see a layered effect. Feel free to use a shadow underneath to show some depth. Decorate the page any way you want.

    examples:

Apparently I like to tear papers. Just now got the hang of adding the white edge which I really love.

But try adding shadow because that really makes those torn pages pop out and stuffing stuff underneath the page is a cool effect too. Can't wait to see what you all make.

This will be your prize for this challenge

I love that layout Irena. I wonder why I didn't find that one before. Great page tearing.

Awe, so very awesome Irean. Love it. Love all the layering and clustering. Love the torn paper. And love the torn paper pieces on the inside that you made trees with. Looks like snow around the edges. Great job!

You mean I have to tear the paper myself!!??? Ohhhhhh dear....I much prefer to use the already-torn stuff our brilliant designers make. But I'll see if I can do this!!!

You're so funny Vivian. You just use the cut tool and take away some of the paper. You can add a white edge to it if you want or just add shadow underneath to show it's been torn. LOL Surely it's not that hard. Can't wait to see what you make.
