Welcome to the March 2016 Altered Art Challenge!
With your hostess, Scrappin Wright.
Are you feeling unsure how to begin an art journal or altering elements and kits you have in your stash? Are you wondering if there are rules? Come join me in this new year as we explore altered art and journaling together! Starting this month and every month after I will be giving you some tips for your digital art jounraling / altered art journey.
I will give you a mini kit to play with as your gift just for playing along. It is my hope to inspire your creativity.
This month let's take a look at the concept of “PERFECTION” this word that drives many of us. Are we good enough? Are we being good parents, sisters, brothers, cousins, friends? Are the layouts we make in scrapbooking going to be noticed? Are they pretty enough? Are the kits we make free from jagged edges, stray pixels, ect? Arghh all this “PEREFECTION” can sure be hard on a person! Wait we are doing altered art / journaling. There are NO rules, no such thing as perfection here. Whew..
Task: This month let's take that word “perfection” and shatter it! Use your favorite font to type the word (with credit of course) and this mini kit I have put together for you. Make it your own unique creation use the papers to cut out little designs, digitally glue them or tape them into place on your word, use your tools to cut it, and just have fun. Use elements to add to to your art. Use the journal card to express letting go of perfection in your life.
You can have this one for free to play with. Code at check out is k2scw_m2016aa
